Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Measure the perimeter area for the stable
    • Work out the required height for the building, with support as required
    • Work out the area of the walls, doors and windows, with support as required
    • Dig suitable holes to hold support poles
    • Erect support poles correctly and ensure they are straight
    • Use cement to secure poles in place
    • Use a spirit level or other suitable means to check the poles are at the correct angle
