What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do

The learner will:

  1. Be able to take part in a range of guided mindfulness activities and describe what they have done. 

  2. Create a plan for two pages and the cover of their scrapbook.

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • On five occasions take part in a guided mindful activity
    • Take part in at least three different mindful activities including:  breathing, grounding and listening to music
    • Make a record of the name of the technique and how it is performed
    • Research ideas for pages in the scrapbook by using the Internet, looking in magazines or a camera
    • Create a mood board or plan for the cover and two pages in the scrapbook
    • Follow the rules of making a scrapbook, e.g. background, picture, label, 
    • Identify the art techniques they will use on each page
