  1. Be able to plan and prepare to go for a walk.

  2. Be able to demonstrate keeping safe when out walking.

The learner can:

    • Identify appropriate clothing required to go for a walk outdoors
    • Identify equipment needed for the walk, eg suitable clothing, walking boots
    • Identify an appropriate route or place to walk
    • Demonstrate walking safely and responsibly in the local community
