The learner can:

    • Look at the layout of the space and recognise how it differs from their classroom
    • Recognise the cutlery on the table
    • Smell and respond to different foods - meat cooking, vegetables, cakes,etc
    • Listen and respond to different sounds - chairs moving, glasses clinking, cutlery rattling
