Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Show that the order has been understood by checking it with the customer.
    • Select the correct snack e.g. fruit scone, sandwich, cake, crisps from the counter.
    • Prepare a napkin and knife, butter etc. if required
    • Place the snack item on a plate.
    • Select a suitable container and make the drink as ordered e.g. white tea, orange squash.
    • Take the drink and snack ordered to the correct customer.
    • Place the order carefully on the table.
    • Ask if the customer requires anything else.
