The learner will:

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Take an order for multiple drinks and snacks and check that the order has been understood by asking the customers.
    • Select and prepare the appropriate serving equipment for each snack e.g. plate, spoon, knife, napkin, bowl.
    • Place the snack on the plate or bowl using the correct tongs or ladle.
    • Select the appropriate container for each drink.
    • Make or pour the drinks.
    • Check that all parts of the order are ready.
    • Take the order to the correct table using a tray if necessary.
    • Name the items and place each in front of the correct customer.
    • Ask if the customers require anything else.
    • Leave the customers using a phrase such as "I hope you enjoy your snack."
