Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • identify five fabrics and state if they are washable
    • identify three different samples of washable fabrics and explain why they are suitable for making into a toy
    • Safely pin a ready prepared pattern (possibly a teddy bear) onto a double layer of fabric 
    • Use scissors safely to cut around the pattern
