The learner will:

  1. Be able to experience activities relating to physical and human features of a country.

  2. Be able to experience activities to compare the UK with another country. 

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Participate in activities that explore the physical features of a place in the UK and another country e.g. collaging landscapes, sensory activities to explore weather conditions, exploring flora and fauna, with appropriate support
    • Participate in activities that explore the human features of a place in the UK and another country e.g. modelling buildings or structures, using ICT to draw images etc, with appropriate support
    • Explore images, sounds, videos and sensory activities that compare and contrast the UK to another country e.g. music, food, weather, schooling, activities, sports, with appropriate support
