The learner can:

    • Use phonetic cues when attempting to read unknown words
    • Demonstrate accurate, consistent use of  phase two letter sounds
    • Spell the days of the week in relation to when events are occurring
    • Talk about a recent event or form of entertainment they have experienced and recall key facts
    • Name and sequence the days of the week when discussing events and forms of entertainment
    • Write a list of people to invite to a planned event
    • Count snacks onto a plate and cups or cutlery on the table when preparing for a planned event - numbers to 10
