Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Identify at least four items that could be used as a topping eg cheese, ham, mushroom, pineapple, pepperoni
    • Choose at least two toppings they want to use on their own pizza 
    • Gather the ingredients and equipment needed to make the pizza eg cheese, pizza base, grater, chopping board, baking tray
    • Prepare the toppings, chopping and grating as required
    • Make the pizza using toppings, with support as required
