The learner can:

    • Find and label the UK and Australia on a map of the world
    • Label the equator, the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere on a map of the world 
    • Recognise from looking at pictures how the weather is different in December in the UK from the weather in December in Australia
    • Label pictures of the UK in December as 'winter' and pictures of Australia in December as 'summer'
    • Label pictures of the UK in July as 'summer' and pictures of Australia in July as 'winter'
