- Explore stringed instruments; guitars, e.g, ukuleles
- Explore brass instruments; trumpets, e.g, bugles
- Explore Woodwind instruments; clarinets, e.g, flutes
- Explore music through IT technology, e.g, speakers, IPADs
- Explore musical instruments on a resonance board
- Say that they like or dislike an instrument using their method of communication
- Make a choice between two instruments using their method of communication
