    • Identify at least two items of equipment needed
    • Follow basic safety rules to ensure that food preparation is safe
    • Be aware of the risks of handling hot food
    • With support, wash up, clear away and tidy the work area
    • Choose a hot drink they would like to prepare
    • Identify equipment needed to prepare a hot drink
    • Be aware of the risks involved in handling hot drinks
    • With support demonstrate how to make hot or cold drinks safely on at least two occasions
    • With support, wash up, clear away and tidy the work area
