    • Plan one hot snack they would like to prepare, cook, eat and serve
    • List the ingredients needed and source the items required to prepare their chosen hot snack
    • Follow basic safety rules to ensure that food preparation is safe and outline the impact of not keeping the kitchen clean when cooking
    • Describe the risks involved when preparing and handling hot food
    • Make the hot snack
    • Wash up, clear away and tidy the work area
    • Choose two different hot drinks they would like to prepare, make and serve
    • Describe what is needed to make the hot drinks
    • Describe the risks involved in handling hot drinks
    • Safely make two hot drinks and serve them
    • Wash up, clear away and tidy the work area
