Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Use a calculator and the +,-,x and = signs to solve simple problems in a in a retail context
    • Use and interpret the +,-,x and = signs to solve simple problems in a in a retail context
    • State if they have enough money to purchase an item
    • Convert from pence to pounds and vice versa in  a retail context
    • Calculate with amounts of money in pence up to £1 and whole pounds up to £100 and give change in a retail context
