Be able to tie a reef knot.
Be able to tie a new knot.

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Tie a reef knot in order to join two pieces of string or rope together with appropriate support
- Tie a reef knot in order to join two pieces of string or rope together around a tree
- Tie a knot eg a clove hitch knot, a round turn and two half hitches knot, a square lashing knot with appropriate support
- Tie a knot for a specific purpose
